Polarized Ski Goggles
What should I look for when buying a good pair of Ski Goggles?
I’m a proficient skier, so long as the sun’s shining. But as soon as it clouds over, I have trouble picking out the subtle undulations in the snow, and I have trouble staying on my feet.
The goggles I’ve used in the past have been relatively inexpensive, and haven’t helped. But I understand that you can buy goggles that help you to see subtleties in the snow.
So, should I be looking for polarizing lenses, or a particular colour, or both?
My holiday was spoiled a couple of years ago when it clouded over and I couldn’t see, so I’m keen to try to fix this before I head off to France in a couple of weeks.

Double lens yellow or pink. Polarized will be too dark.
Skiing near trees at slopes’ edges will help too.
Learn to adopt a more relaxed shorter stance for flat light. Do not ski slow. Much like a bicycle you need a certain amount of speed to trade for balance.
The keys to prevent goggles fogging is to polish them in lodge with anti fog solution, place them over your eyes and never take them off your face. Put them on your wet hat once and you’ll need to return to lodge to dry and re clean.
