Is there a big difference between snowboards?

Or do the bindings and boots really matter? If I buy a Lamar Snowboard (b/c I heard Lamar is not the best or close to the best) and put on K2 bindings and boots won’t it be just as good as the K2 Snowboard? I know there are different types of snowboards and I don’t care right now, I just want to know if I would do that would it be the same.

Bindings don’t make a big difference. Boots do make a difference. It is important to get good, comfortable boots which fit your feet snugly. When you have the correct boot you will feel more comfortable, so more fun on the snowboard, you will have more control over the snowboard itself. So if you buy an expensive snowboard with bad boots, you will feel terrible and you wouldn’t be able to have fun with it. If you have good boots, you will have a great time even with a cheap snowboard, and the better snowboard it is the more fun you will have ( but snowboard will make difference if you’re experienced).
So bindings… as far as they hold your boots on the board firmly, they shouldn’t make any difference.
If you’re a beginner get a softer flex snowboard, probably freestyle one because they’re easier to ride and not so expensive either. First snowboard doesn’t matter that much.
